Meh, thats the style i was going for. Clean, simple.
It's like a ripoff of red meat.
i just wanted to fuck around with pens, scanners and photoshop.
at the very least, it came out how i imagined,
it was better than all the other comics in the paper at the time.

I actually dig the hell out of these...and the writing is way far out....which I like. If this were a web-comic I'd have bookmarked it for daily/weekly read.

Though the subtle nuances of underground comic-book humour escape most (like the "floating" soulpatch under the handlebar moustache...)
I assure you that your ability as an artist and writer are exactly where it needs to be in order to appeal to what I imagine is your target audience (ie: asshole hipsters/pseudo intellectuals) I myself fit both the listed criteria and therefore find it hilarious.

It seemslike it didn't take a long time to do, i'd be interested in seeing what you could do if you spent more time, and did more than the same image tweaked each time.
Perhaps someone should write material for you? Like Gabe and Tycho from Penny-Arcade (Gabe draws, Tycho writes)

This is meant to be a subtle, simple, off the wall experiment. the writing is supposed to be like that. it's supposed to be kind of strange.
you are the last person i'll consider taking advice from. after all, you are the dude that had a life altering experience at a Final Fantasy concert. If you enjoy penny arcade as well, i dont think there is much hope for you.
As for time; these are no cakewalk to punch out. these can be composed of 50 layers or more. It's actually quite inefficient and time consuming to make one the way i want it to look.

Reminds me of Sealab 2021 humor. I like it. The first and third are great, but the second one was a bit lame, I thought.

Is it completely done in Photoshop or do you scan some of your artwork? I'd still like to see more, so if you have any more of them lying around, post them.
