...that i broke my right arm while trying to mend the partly collapsed roof of our garden shed. i was standing on the ladder and leaned over to grab a part of the roof, then all of a sudden the rest of the shed collapsed and i crushed my arm on the way down.

sorry for typing in lower case, but since i can only type with my left hand, using the shift key sucks. the doc wanted to give me a more flexible bandage, but i did not see him this week so... ah well.

i wish i had a video of that stunt, it must have looked laughably clumsy.

for all of you who sent pms to me, i will respond as soon as i can type properly again.

btw., i checked out some of the stuff that has been posted here during the past few weeks and i am not amused.. :spock:

lower-case'ly yours,

tak

Is this why we didn't have a Weekly Check thread this week?

In all seriousness though, hope it heals up quick Tak.

contacted the doc today, will get a lighter bandage on tuesday, thank god for that. the hard bandage i have on my right arm right now is shit, almost knocked myself out with it last night in bed.

sounds funny, but i missed you guys.

i will check back later on, if you want to contact me outside of the forums, send mail to tak_snk@yahoo.de .

and the worst, i can not use a stick at the mo... had the same prob in 2k1 when i had a bike accident and broke my shoulder, now i will have to cope with the damn pads again for the next month. sucks.

heh, yeah.

we had lots of snow here during the past few weeks, then temparatures dropped to arctic level for a week or two. the roof of the shed was covered with heaps of frozen snow, which caused one side of the roof to collapse under the heavy load.

then i took a ladder to climb up to the roof and remove the snow with a shovel. while hacking away on the glass-hard masses of snow, all of a sudden the complete ice crust came down and almost pushed me off the ladder. i staggered and was about to fall backwards, grabbed the ladder, lost balance and fell onto the remaining bits of the roof... the roof collapsed with a loud creaking noise, the side walls "folded" in, i fell down and crushed a big ice block with my right arm, which in turned crushed my bones and that was that.

i couldnt help but giggling all the way to the hospital, i felt like one of the dorks in those home video shows where ppl send in partly staged vids of household accidents. :kekeke:

bleed g'loff'n... :p

what arm do you beat with?

He seems pretty hardcore, I'm guessing he's a two-hander.

Going from two hands to one is of the most difficult things evar. :crying:

Hey Tak-

If it serves you, go into Start > Control Panel > Accesibility Options, Keyboard Tab. Clicking on the StickyKeys checkbox will enable one-handed CAPS.

Get well-

Vas? Hey, you could've just given a warning, I had a bad day. Besides, it was the only time ever I was really mad at someone here.

Nitpickers.....
