Earthquake said:Anyone here own an old style NES with a new 72-pin connector? I've heard that they do the trick pretty well, but I'm curious as to how long they actually last.

It's kinda crappy too. The picture quality is not good at all. I even had one modded with composite, and the picture still sucked. The dogbone controllers are nice though.
GunstarHero said:Ouch, thats bad news about the picture quality. Now I definitely won't buy one of these, its just more of a novelty item anyway. Thanks for that tip.
I have an old toaster NES with a new 72 pin and it works great, but I must say that the carts go in super tight now, and are hard to pull out sometimes.
edit* I said tight, and pull-out in the same sentence.

ClassicMode1985 said:Yeah mine is loose like a $20 hooker at Mardia Gras..Just depends on where you got the PIN.
Yet seriously, that is my biggest concern, the video output had to be just RF? I mean why didn't Nintendo think straight?
Everyone who was playing SNES and Genesis at least had their stuff in AV. It was 1993 for godsakes...
I will say the dogbone controllers were a very good idea, nice design.
SamuraiX, how in the world did you obtain 7 of them?
