Hey for those who care; Legend of Kage 2 is fucking awsome!! Old school gameplay FTW. The sucky part is all the dumb dialogue, but I have my DS set in spanish and it's pretty hilarious given that they use spanniard dialect which is in truth the actual spanish that should be, kind of like UK to the US, you see, but still it sounds pretty funny and cool at the same time, so no complaints whatsoever on that.

The story seems a bit lame, but really...who cares! The gameplay is pretty spot on. At first I was a bit dissapointed 'cause it seemed a bit loose granted that the speed of the game is pretty fierce, but then it only took a second try and I was comfortable with it, is faster than the Original Legend of Kage, but somehow it feels a bit like Ninja Spirit and it uses both screen for gameplay which is always A OK in my book.

I've only gotten to the third stage so far, but I have a feeling this game is gonna kick so much ass along the way, that I'm excited about playing it soem more. I haven't had this feeling since Harmony of Dissonance came out, I really like fast paced games like this.

Oh! And the combining orbs thing for making your own NInjiutsu; at first I was like WTF?! this sucks RPG balls bs!, but then I figure I try it just to see wtf is up with that googly moogly and it's actually quite intuitive and pretty cool, 'cause you can actually see what it does before hand, plus you can use the orbs to your liking and rearrenge them endelssly until you find what suits you best. I am happy! Finally some odd elements of cheesy games well used!

While this game won;t be bringing anything new to the table, it kicks major ass on the good old school of old school stuff.

Another game that deserves a mention in case you want more excelllent games of this type for your DS or GBA:

Ninja 5.0: Now this is very possibly the best game for the GBA ever!

I've been interested in this little title, but the mixed reviews are kind of killing it for me. As good as Ninja Spirit you say?

BTW: Yes, Ninja Five-O is full of win and good.

It's only 20 bucks so I think is worth the shot if you aren't sure, plus christmas is coming and it could make a pretty swift gift if you don't approve!

Edit: Don't look for amazing graphics here, it's all baout the gameplay.

One important thing I should mentioned which maybe a bit crazy, but to tell you the truth this game plays and feels a lot like Ganryu or at least what Ganryu should have been in the gameplay department, although I love that ninja hook majig, hell! I wish LoK2 had it, well at least NInja 5.0 had it! I love that dohick, kind of like Bionic Commando NES, man those were the days.

BTW; there's a Bionic Commando for the GB that plays and feels just like the NES BC, except it has a futuristic setting. Quite the game I'm telling you. I never got to play that other BC game for the GBC, has anyone?

I'm in the sixth stage and this broad is killing me! Well, one thing I wish for is an arcade mode once the game is beaten. You know so it feels more accomplishing. You'll see what I mean once you start playing the game, howver there is this rank mode so that's cool kind of like shinobi for the PS2 where you can go back to a stage and perfected or something.

So far I have all A's and one S.
