How tight is too tight?

Well how tight it too tight for the card slots? I just got a system in and the card slots are tight, they look new. Its a pain getting the games in the AES but taking them out is a real pain. I almost though I was going to break the cart I was playing.
I also just got a MVS converter and they recommend tight card slots but I am afraid that once I put the converter in its not going to want to come out? So do you guys think thats too tight? Or is that just the way it should be? Let me know what you think?

The mvs adapter won't fit as tightly as the carts, you shouldn't have to worry

if you leave in a cart all the time, the slot should loosen up after a while.

I have some games which are tight, and some which are loose. Like my KoF 97 is a bitch to pull out, but the KoF2000 is easy. I wonder if this is about the old contacts more than the tightness.

You know you don't have to put it all the way in. It could go in halfway and still work fine, right.
