How much do you sleep?

How much sleep do you normally get on a daily basis? I get about 5 1/2 to 6 hours a day... sometimes a little less. I wake up every morning at 9:30 A.M and go to bed at 3 A.M, lol. Why? I like to wake up early so I have "free time" before I go to work and I stay up late because my day is wasted being at work. I'm more active at night anyways. I've been with this routine for about a year now and it hasn't killed me yet. :multi_co:

I get 5-7 hours of sleep, depending on if I have to go to work or school on a particular day. I'm tired on the days that I get only 5 hours of sleep though, so I often make up for the lack of sleep by way of mid-day napping if I get the opportunity.

My schedule exactly, although lately it's been more hours b/c I'm sick. :(

Anywhere between 6-8. Depends on when I decide to finally crawl into bed (which I should be doing) and if I manage not to wake up 2-3 times before my alarm goes off like I usually do.

This happens to me quite often too. It really pisses me off when I continually wake up and still have 2 hours left... 1 hour left... 30 mins. left of sleep. I never have enough sleep, yet I will still wake up at random times during the early morning.

4-6 hours a day. I stay up to late, then the next day it's off to work again. It's a neverending cycle.

Under deadline pressure, I still try to get 5 hours at least. But no deadlines, look out -- I will go for 9 or 12 hours. At least. I've done more. Sleeping is one of my favorite hobbies. I love sleep and I can sleep anywhere except on an airplane. Standing up? No problem. Dog barking right outside my window? Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I fall asleep around 3 or 4, no matter how early I have to wake up for work; 6AM, 10AM, whatever.

If I go to work at 4PM then I usually sleep in until 1. Making up for lost time, I guess, so everything balances out in the end.

In the past I've slept through thunderstorms, gunshots, and vacuum cleaners. I used to sleep like the dead, but I'm not as heavy a sleeper anymore.

I slept for 12 non-stop hours on the last plane trip I was on. I slept from Hawaii to Tennessee, lol.

5-6 hours during work week, and about 7-10 hours on days off.

i actually function better on 5-6 hours of sleep when i'm working.

not sure why, but i feel somewhat tired and sluggish when i go pass the 6 hour mark.....

Lately, like 2-4 hours at night, then 3-6 during the daytime.

Fucking college.

Used to sleep around 10 hours a day back when I was unemployed a few weeks back, but with my new job I'm getting about 5-6 hours of sleep now.

I feel tired all the time, yet I can not for the life of me go to sleep at an early hour. My body is too used to sleeping late as shit and waking up late I guess.

I think I may need to start taking some sleeping pills.

4 - 7 hours a day is what you should be sleeping, if you have that amount of sleep you'll live longer than someone who has 8 - 12 hours.

i usually sleep about 8 - 10 :buttrock:

Not for much longer though :(

For a long time, I got by on 4-6.
After getting some regular exercise and changing my habits around, I've gotta have at least 7 or I'm not very with it. I think I'm in permanent catch-up mode though, because I can easily get 9-10 hours if I have some silence and it stays nice and cool in the room.

Sleep is totally underrated.

I try to get 8-9 hours, but I can function on as little as 4. I'm cranky as hell, but I can do it.

This split shift is taking some getting used to, as five days out of the week I sleep at night, and the other two I have to sleep during the day.

Before my appendix was removed. 3-4 hours, weekdays. 8-10 hours, weekends.

After the surgery, I tried to get back on the same schedule, but my body wasn't having it. So now I get a minimum six hours on weekdays and tens hours on the weekends; my body has responded very well to that schedule.

So thats about 8 if I go to bed late. I wake up a lot during the night though, so probably not very much good sleep going on.
