Hello, I was just wondering how many more Neo Geo games do you need to complete your collection to a level you can live with and what are they? Sure most of us would like to have ALL of them, but be realistic.

Do you just need one more shooter, or maybe Mark of the Wolves for example? Let me know your wish list, I am curious! P.S. sorry I cannot help you find any games though.

Hi I have only just started out on my Neo-geo arcade collection and feel the more the better as long as it is not buying just for the sake of it. I have been collecting this format now for the past 3 months (not very long eh)and that is why I have now registerd so I can get info when I need it. In the short time I have been collecting I have picked up around 20 mvs titles some good (excellent) some not so good, but still fun to play, my favorites being Metal slug 1&2, kof99 and shock troopers 2nd squad.
My wish list would have to be quite obvious:
Metal slug X&3
kof 2000
I also own a Hyper64 system with the four great titles out for my board (thanks to Jeff at Vektorlogic for supplying me with one) why not have a look at this web site if you are after one as they are so worth having even if there are only 4 games (all of which are mint) so the site address is www.vektorlogic.com and is well worth a look whatever you collect.
But my wish list for the Hyper 64 is limited and can only be:
More game tiltles PLEASE!!!

Hello and welcome Retroplayer!
biggrin.gif
So you have some action games and fighters on your list, any shooters or sports games? Or are you happy having mostly games from your favorite genres? I myself am trying to get a few of the best games from each genre on AES, and right now I need a puzzle game, maybe Magical Drop 2 or 3. Best of luck to you and take care!

It is mainly the games from my youth that I played in the arcades but could not afford to buy at the time, I did have an aes system a week ago but did a deal on it with vektorlogic an got my self a second small mvs 6slot for in my room as the other cab I own would not fit up the stairs. I did the swap due to aes games like metal slug being to expensive for me on the home system and so mvs seemed a great alternative. I also have the cd system but the loading time between the levels broke the flow of the games. I am not that into shooters at the moment but I do have iron clad and viewpoint on the cd format which are mint apart from viewpoint being to hard for me as I have not played many shooters. As for puzzle games I recently got Puzzle bobble for the mvs after having it on cd as it was a must have game for me as I can play on it for hours. I have a few sports games like super sidekicks 2 and baseball stars but they do not interest me as much.
Thanks for replying to my previous post as it is nice to know new people are welcome by people who have been collecting longer.

I do not need any but I would like to acquire these twelve titles Eightman, Magician Lord, Super Dodgeball, Prehistoric Isle 2, Blazing Star, Waku Waku 7, Real Bout series, Neo Geo Cup '98 and Stakes Winner. Of course I want them near mint or mint.

A few games I would like are:

King of Fighters 2000
Nightmare in the Dark (when it is cheaper)

umm, thats about it, I am kind of done collecting. I have over 40 MVS games and I am kind of at the point where I have everything I want. My next thing to do will probably be to buy a new cab that will fit my 6 slot board that is sitting in the closet, and then work on buying some CPS2 games to go in there as well. I am an arcade game collector, not just a Neo collector, but I have to say... for an old system Neo Geo games are still a blast to play today, try and say that about alot of other machines...

I'm a Neo, Neo Geo player, so I like the more recent games with the huge amounts of ram. Although I just started, I only have a few more games to get for now. MotW, the Last Blades, and Metal Slug X.

I just need Metal Slug 3 and Shock Troopers (first one) MVS (saving money to buy convertor).

I don't need to get all of Neo carts coz they are too many and too expensive. :<

I need 'last blade 2' - 'pulstar' and 'blazing star', but first I must win a lottery.

I have 25 right now and probably would be happy with around 40-50. There are some specific ones that I need: MS, MSX, MS3, Neo Turfmasters, Windjammers, SS3, LB, LB2, Money Puzzle Exchanger, etc.

Well, i'm gonna have to do some saving but all I need is KOF00, MS3, KOF97, KOF94 and FF2(all MVS). Then I'll have all of the KOF's ,MS's and FF's and that's fine with me. I also got 3 count bout just for fun. I'm still looking for some other stuff that I may just want to try. I also want to get my hands on pulstar. Maybe..

Just an edit: If anybody wants to sell me any of these, I'm looking for MVS carts, not home carts.

Will I ever have a collection that I'm satisfied with? How much is enough? Hmmmm... tough questions. I tend to focus on one or two titles at a time as I look to aquire my next NEO*GEO AES title. Right now I'm in the hunt for Last Blade and Last Blade 2. Believe it or not, I just recently scored Dunk Dreams... that one took me a while as I did not want to pay too much for the title. In the mean time, The Dreamcast import of Last Blade: Final Edition is keeping me happy as I search for the AES editions of Last Blade. :D

Best of luck guys in completing your collections. I seem to be suffering for the "Just one more." syndrome myself lately. :D

well I am not at home right now put lets see.

NGM
Pop n Bounce
Diggerman
Bust A move again
Puzzle de pon R
Bang Bead
Fight Fever
Over the top
Prehistoric island
Sengoku 3

NGH
nothing

NGCD
ADK Special
master of Syogi

do I have all the NGH carts, NO. My goal has always been to have every neo game in one format or the other. Preferable the best format. I have several games in all 3 format NGM,NGH and NGCD and still pick up games that come up in a format I do not have them in. Also I have some of the quiz games but not all. I pick those up when they are cheap. No sense in spending a fortune on a game I will never play other then the occassional glance. Unless I learn japanese.

About 30 more titles i think.
Most important titles are Ninja Masters, Waku Waku 7 and both the Magical Drop games.
