When I was looking at houses, I saw a house where the real estate agent had written "Architecturally Inspired."
Because I had a hard time finding the house (the streets in the area were a total cluster), I was pretty testy when I got there and as soon as I walked in and saw the vaguely loft-like interior went on a pretty snarky series of comments about how the features were apparently inspired by real architecture or actual architects.
This brings me to the number one most annoying thing about looking at real estate in the Twin Cities: 95% of agents write their descriptions in ALL CAPS for no apparent reason. More than half of those people struck me as people who would write regular emails in all caps.
That's better than southern California, where seller's agent I ran into appeared to be the well off, second-career wife of someone who clearly makes the money in the family. The one example of someone who appeared to be trying to earn a living was completely incompetent.
