Exactly. I didn't want to say it because I knew the collectors would get pissed with the wrong meg count. Apparently from what I heard is that the meg counts reflect the chip sizes they used in the cart instead of actual game data.

Out of curiosity, wouldn't it be cheaper to make those with smaller memory chips that would still fit the whole ROM program?

It depends on the board being used. It might have been a lot easier for them to double an image to fit on an eprom that was easier to use. Since the chips were probably used the price difference between the chips would only be $1-2.

Fair enough for us to bash the gameplay of TOTC but honestly guys, these cats at NCI deserve at least a little love for keeping the Neo Geo going. the game looks like shit and judging by the videos it plays even worse. I will also concede that the release of this game was obviously nothing more than a ploy to make money off us. However, its a new fucking neo geo game which is dope in itself. I would even go so far as to say I would dig seeing a cartridge release of neo pong if it ever happens. I just love seeing people resurrect dead technology. I don't know what the deal is with your beef with these NCI cats Tonk but it seems like it is something personal beyond the shittyness of TOTC and the crappy artwork for B2B. I just dig seeing new games come out for the neo. people pay obscene amounts of cash for shitty neo geo games just because they are rare. For example, I never really thought kizuna encounter was very good and yet it is highly sought after. Can't we just enjoy seeing new releases for the system even if they are shit? NCI has shit the bed thus far but lets focus on the positive aspect here which is the release of games once thought lost forever. Can't we just be happy seeing the neo library expand into 2013? lets not player hate
