Here we go again! Dad passed away.

My wife lost her father in 2021, her brother in 2025, and her mother last month (exactly a year after her brother). The first two were unexpected, but her mother was already bedridden and in nursing care when her brother went. My sister is still in treatment after a second round with lymphoma.

It's rough. I wish I had something better to say, but I guess that's all I have. Take care of yourself.

This is actually not a bad thing to convey in this thread at all.

I lost my mother, my sister and my wife in a three year span. My father passed away over a decade ago.

This lets us know that even though our grief is unique, our circumstances aren't so different and in a way, that makes us more 'together' than 'alone' if that makes any sense.

My sincere condolences. Fortunate enough to still have both my parents but most of us are at that age that our loved ones are gifts that we can't take for granted. I know that's some cliche bullshit but it's a cliche for a reason.

Fought prostate cancer the last couple of years but passed away early this morning. Knew this time would eventually come but the sudden downhill effect...he was talking about going home from the hospital Saturday night to hospice and this. At least he's free of the pain and reunited with my mom. I'll miss him greatly

Sorry to hear this. Sadly we are all getting to that point in our lives where we start to lose loved ones. No matter what age, they pain stays the same. It will take time but you will eventually find peace in his passing. Take care brother and we'll see you soon
