I'm looking to get a generic cabinet to build a gun system, with a Police Trainer and a Point Blank game... there's a Police Trainer game in good condition near me for sale for $400, but the cabinet is one where the monitor is facing up and being bounced off a mirror. In all my years of playing at arcades, I've never seen a cabinet with this setup... looking around at other gun cabinets it seems like a fairly common thing. I think it looks like crap because you can see all the mounting hardware and such around the monitor.
But the real question is... how does this affect the functionality of the game? Apart from some cosmetic issues, am I (and my customers) going to notice a difference in gameplay?
