Is this really a sprite preference or are we talking two different strategies?

I never really played as Guile in SFA3 because I got hooked on Nash in SFA1.

I was going to compare them to Remy, but it's hard to compare a character that plays differently due to the SF3 engine. If all three were in the same game, we'd have something to talk about.

Guile owns Nash/Charlie, Remy, me, you and the whole fuckin' world. He's always been a monster, and until that steaming pile of shit SvsC came out, he's never really been poorly done.

I loved Charlie when Alpha came out. I was in love with his character design/hair, and his moves were Guile like, but still unique enough to call him a brand new character.

There are things I like about both, but Guile's just too strong, and the original pimp. I want to like Remy, I really do, but he's too damn retarded. I love the industrial punk sort of look, and playing like Guile is a plus, but he's just no fun. Best punk fighter is still Freeman by a mile.... but that's another thread all together.

you know, Remy plays nice, I just don't like his character design that much and I think he's a tad slower than Guile and Nash.

Guile is the original pimp though

i'll kick guile's ass anyway day of the week.

Tadow!

FACT>The best version of Guile is stronger than the best version of Charlie twice over. Charlie just can't compare.

Guile easily. The most badass Crapcom character ever, outside of Akuma.

Guile wasn't in SFA3.

It should have been a Guile/Nash Cammy vs Ralf/Clark Leona type thing-

--but that is another thread, anyways Guile will always be of the best, out of the two IMHO. Nash is the constant inferior second bananna-

Which version are you speaking of?

He's not in SFA3

I haven't played SFA3 in a long time, but I'm almost positive I remember seeing him there, secret character or not.

????WTF???? Guile is in SFA3. Although he's weak as a mofo, much weaker than charlie.

I'm just being a dickhead.

I have SFA3 on cps2, Guile is not in it.

SFA3 Upper was released on Naomi I think, a few characters added, Guile was one of them. That is what the DC and PSX ports are based off.

So Guile is not in SFA3.

Guile SFII > Nash SFA

it's all about the knee hop, adds a lot of strategy

I'm in the minority here, but...

Charlie >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Guile

Personally, I prefer the way Charlie plays. Aside from
that, Charlie simply has more style than Guile has ever
had, from the one-handed Sonic Boom to the heel-first
Somersault Shell. Then, of course, is the outfit, the hair,
and the glasses. Charlie, IMO, is simply much cooler.
After Charlie, I'd say Remy.

EDIT: Guile is in the PSone and DC versions of SFA3, BTW
(the GBA version as well).

I'd say Nash is cooler in style, his moves look nice too

Remy in my opinion is cliche or maybe he just needs more character development.

Hmmmm

Charlie has a wider flashkick and Guile had a higher flash kick so difficult to choose.

Trust me... remember my Guile? You played against him. Think about it. The choice is easy: Guile.

guile is in street fighter alpha 3 (the home versions). he's a secret character. the home versions of alpha 3 has every character from the street fighter 2 series.

You're missing the point. SFA3 in the arcade does NOT have him, and that's what the point was. Yes yes, the console versions do, but the original, and actual SFA3 does not.

SFA3 is cool, but they have too many turd characters. WHO IN THE BLUE BLAZES thought Rainbow Mika was a good character design? Oh my gay.

And why oh why did they take one of the coolest Capcom characters ever (Cody) and make him suck huge balls?

Sorry.... sorry, got off track there. Just had to vent.

Guile beats a lot of ass, hands down. Watching tournament footage from the last Super Battle Opera for SSF2X was awe inspiring. Guile just being played in the most amazing way.

But... I think my favorite incarnation is Nash in Xmen vs. SF. He could combo anything into his db k combo, and he could do it to people when they bounced off of the ground. I have really fond memories of this.

Guile might be a powerful character, still, I prefer Nash and Remy over him, because of the better character design.

I had the PSX version and the DC version and both were called SFA3, so he was in it, just not in the CPS2 version

Doesn't matter, he sucked in it compared to his SFII version.

I agree with SpinMaster X

Best version of Guile slaughters the best version of Nash

it's all about gameplay baby
