Enrique has sent me $560 so far, thanks for that.

I'm still waiting on the other $50.

I did Deals with Enrique (Gowcaizer) for Waku Waku 7 JP, Real Bout US, and KOF 94. For $630.

He sent $600 via paypal and $30 via Western Union.


Today Paypal sent me the following email:

My paypal account is now at Negative $-610.00 and is unusable, I cannot use paypal to continue my transactions.

Paypal Chargeback Department said:
It is PayPal's standard practice to attempt to dispute wrongful
chargebacks. After careful consideration of the information provided by you
and the buyer regarding the transaction detailed below, we have determined
that we will be unable to successfully dispute this chargeback with the
buyer's credit card issuer.

Since the credit card issuer granted the chargeback to the buyer, we have
debited $600.00 USD from your PayPal account in order to reimburse the
buyer.
This is in accordance with the terms of the PayPal User Agreement.

Also, PayPal was charged a settlement fee. As a result we debited your
PayPal account to pay for this fee. This action was taken in accordance
with the terms of the PayPal User Agreement.

Enrique just sent me this.

He says he didn't file the claim, and asks what to do?

All I want is my money back, I don't know how to reverse the claim other than replying to paypal. ANd sending me the $610 back. there SHOULD be my $610 sitting in his account, right?

I didn't mail the tracking # because it was sent via Global Priority (No Tracking #'s?)

I should have written down the slip info though, and I will now from now on!:very_ang:

IT doesn't have a Phone # for the chargeback dept, just fax, and they reccomended using Email in that original message.

I'm talking with Enrique right now, and I think he wants to make this deal right.

Yeah I'm pretty sure there is only tracking here for Global Express, I usually send it Global Priority, a bit slower, to save my customers money.

I believe I even asked a USPS counter worker about it and they said Global Priority didn't have tracking.

Well the name on the card (from the chargeback) wasnt Enrique. Perhaps he used his moms card or someone else's and they did the chargeback.

either way, this sucks balls and Enrique needs to make good.

You're right, I didn't even realize that, I was too mad.

Argh, sorry to hear about this, Curt. You and I are in the same boat at the moment. Some bozo I sold a sword to claims he never got it (despite the fact the tracking number says "delivered") and successfully invoked a chargeback on me. Now my PayPal account is at -$866 and I have to fight this whole mess.

If you have them, you can send PayPal scans of your postal receipts. I'm sure it would help. PayPal unfortunately takes quite a long time to respond to these claims, so send them any important evidence you can to support your case.

From now on, I'm only doing Signature Confirmation for expensive transactions.

It sounds like Enrique really wants to make this better, and says hes going to talk to enrique and his sister.

I should have posted earlier, but Enrique has successfully given me $560 via Bank transfer. I'm still waiting on the other $50 to successfully call this case closed. He expressed some concerns that this thread was making him not able to proceed with some other deals here on the forums. So I'd like to say that so far, enrique has been 100% forthcoming in his emails, and honest, and I'm sure he'll get me the other $50 soon.
