I have a PC Engine Arcade Card and every time I think of playing Fatal Fury Special in it I remember I have the MVS set up right there by the TV.

Did you happen to make a shockbox insert for Golden Axe? Or Shinobi? Just got my MVS copies from Sheep Nova and would be nice to have inserts for em as well.

A piece of information, who uses the sd loader with blueretro dongle and 8bitdo neo geo pads? Because if I use the 2 dongles when selecting the character the machine resets, but if I remove the 2nd dongle I can play without resetting. I have already updated the adapters.

This screams a power issue. Too much draw = reset. Knowing nothing about Neo CD, I have no fix for you, but on usual arcade equipment, I would up the output of my PSU.Thanks for the great conversion! Let's hope for an Altered Beast or Alien Storm now!

Sure, mileage varies.
We're dealing with 30 year old electronics, so I'd still bet on power. Random reset on old electronics = check power.

I would imagine that now Golden Axe has been ported, a port of Alien Storm would be more than feasible?
Has the system got the horsepower to do either Capcom's The Punisher or AvP justice, or even Final Fight - or is that asking too much?

I get that... but it's funny as fuck seeing Shinobi running on NGCD. Not interested in Golden Axe, good game, but I'm happy with other ways to play that one.
In some respects it's interesting to see what could have been if SNK had been more adventurous with getting partnerships for NGCD back in the day - at launch one of their stated objectives was to attract third parties to the platform.... what did we get? Visco and one Taito game. Yay.

H0ffman briefly discussed Final Fight back on page 3. One hurdle is the 384 x 224 resolution of the CP series to the Neo's 320. Personsally, I'd like to see Arcade Moonwalker ported (if possible) since the Genesis version was a letdown. I find that both Shinobi and Golden Axe both play better on the NeoCD than my AES. Plus, more games that aren't fighters are always welcome. Most casuals will sit and play Golden Axe in co-op but quickly lose interest with fighting games as they get their ass whooped in .0003 seconds.
