Well, not 100%, there were caveats to it.
If all 68000's were pretty much the same, the idea would work. Or, the could be workarounds to that problem.

No, I didn't validate it at all. It was a very nice way to say, "no, dude - that's not at all a viable idea and here's why."

To quote myself, "Good idea in theory, but there are too many variables to make this a viable reality..."

If there are multiple versions of a 68000, is this implemented in emulators, or perhaps they don't need to do this?

It is perfectly acceptable to start a sentence with "and"; there is no grammatical rule against it, and many writers use it for stylistic emphasis or to create a conversational tone.

With some games like Streets of Rage, if you port them to the Neo Geo, the questions might be, should the graphics & sound be kept the same (as far as possible), or should they be improved (bigger sprites, etc), to take advantage of the Neo's capabilities?
