I think it looks awesome.

I've been on a serious Galaga kick lately, in fact i'm wearing a Galaga shirt right now.

Sexy.

I'm looking forward to it after playing more of the first legions at FunSpot during the Galaga tournament. It sucked that Namco was going to use the tournament as the debut of Legions DX but they said they shipped all the demo units to California for E3 so we had to play the first one.

Why must all of these good arcade games come out at the same time? I need to buy some more points to get everything I want.

I like the route Namco Bandai took with the Galaga Series, a lot. Fits nicely into the niche games like: Child of Eden, Space Giraffe, etc.

Oh, and iPhone/iTouch users can download Galaga 30th Anniversary Collection for free right now. Has four games included.

Damn, all I had to see was "Pac-Man championship edition team presents" and I was sold.

Unless they have a sale the only game you get when you download it is Galexian and each game is five bucks a pop. The conversions seem alright, not sure if you can play them without rapid fire.

Really? I discovered the app today and haven't downloaded it yet, so I was unaware. Well, that sucks.

It's just like the Atari one they have. They say the app has a bunch of games but when you download it the only one you could play was Pong. They've since changed to to Missile Command but the price to "unlock" everything is still over ten bucks, the same goes with the new Galaga app. It'd be worth it if you could tool around with the options but from what I read there doesn't seem to be any that disable the rapid fire shooting and you can't play the games in their original arcade versions. Just an updated touch version.
