I kinda wanna do clear case, pink PCB and white buttons.White PCB and white bezel screen looks hot. Ordered up a couple FPGBC kits from FP tonight. Down the I go…
Allows for integer scaling with pixel grid as well.
surprised you didn't pull @kernow and have your Daytona accidentally on your wrist while taking the photos...looks great btw!Aight... got my order from FP direct this week. Kits are super straight forward, and there are a few easy to follow YT vids if you're stuck in a jam -- it may go without saying but these kits don't require soldering which is fantastic for folks like me that suck at it.
Ordered a smoke black shell + the full FPGBC kit with a black PCB and another kit with one of the new white PCBs (thanks for the heads-up @pixeljunkie ) + white panel to drop in a clear case. Thought I'd snap a few pics after I completed the smoke console to show what's included in the kit . One of the main selling points of the display itself for me was the ability to choose various monochrome options for GB games which I don't think is an option on other IPS upgrade kits such as their retropixel kit.
Party on!
