Its nice being able to do sweep into fireball but come on, do shotos need more safe stuff to win. The way their hurrican kicks work in that game more than make up for it. If you want more of the sweep into fireball action play some SvC, underrated game for sureAlpha 2 is the top Alpha game.
A3 started the whole absurd gameplay like in most Capcom later fighting games.
Getting rid of the crouch HK into Hadouken for the shotos was another step to suicide.
Good thing they brought back Guile and Blanka tho.
A2 > A1 > A3.
That's what makes this game great. well, one of the things. You're on the same team as your buddy.
If you don't like a character because they lost one combo you need to diversify your portfolio, nigga.
Thanks for the free thread bump guys, the board is now SOLD, but... I will be listing another Zero 2 Alpha and a Vanilla Alpha 2 B, green & blue boards respectively, soon.
Damn, that's stock talk right there, you can't argue with that.
I will admit, the music and artstyle is nicer than A3. That being said the music or graphics arent shit in A3 but for me the mechanics/gameplay is where it shines.
I will play both but prefer A3
Who are you referring to as my buddy?

I agree with you about the trip to fireball safe string not being a good excuse. I know I'm saying sfa3 is the better game, but I am aware that alpha2 is the game out of the two that is going to feel more comfortable to the sf2 players. I just like to hear specific reasons why.I agree that SFA2 > SFA3, but losing that one shoto combo as the reason is silly.
Ah, OK man got ya. Dramatic mode is really fun for surewho ever you're not going easy on. I'm not arguing 2 vs 3, I'm just saying dramatic mode is awesome, that's all![]()
There fixed it lol. Yeah those doubles were fun. That's one thing I don't think 3 has on arcade version.only console can you play shin akuma or evil ryu. I think only secret character is balrogZero 2 Alpha has Shin Akuma as an opponent after specific circumstances are met, but you can unlock him as playable too. That double air fireball is fantasticly cheap...

There's several characters missing in the arcade version that are on consoles (or portables), but it varies from version to version.
Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper on Naomi has Evil Ryu and Shin Gouki for sure. I'm sure Zero 3 Upper had all of the console exclusive characters/hidden characters.
I think AJ meant the CPS2 version, but IIRC, Upper has all the characters minus Ingrid (Double Upper).
