I needed to post this up here since this has the most views of my various threads... Naturally, if you follow me on Twitter or Like me on FaceBook you've seen it. I digest:

It's been a busy past month! First we finished up the Panzer Fight Stick Wide Body and now we have exact reproduction MVS 2 Slot Covers! The years haven't been kind to classic arcade hardware. A lot of these covers are damaged, rusted, missing, or have been cut up for CMVS projects. I wanted a nice replacement cover for my MVS and a nice metal base to easily place it... so I took the best cover I could find and reproduced it to the exact specs. While I was at it I decided to put a nice Powder Coat finish on it!

These will be for sale starting Friday! When you buy, you get a reproduction cover and base in the Powder Coat color choice!

My next step is to create a CMVS version of this with rigid mounting points for a NEOBITZ video encoder, JROK video sync cleaner, Power Plug/Swtich, Game Select Swtich, and all of the video outputs you could need!

that's pretty cool Jasen! I bet there will be a few people looking for exactly this. What's it priced at?

Oh and just a quick note: This looks like it was made for the MV-2F, not the larger MV-2, if so you should specify that ;)

With real-estate being limited on the MV-2F I was planning on having the following cut outs for the CMVS version:

BACK:
1. Power Jack (Single Barrel)
2. Power Switch
3. Composite, Component, S-Video Connectors
4. Audio Connectors

FRONT:

1. Select Button

INSIDE:
1. Stand Offs for NEOBITZ
2. Stand Offs for JROK Sync Cleaner
3. Stand Offs for a Jasen's Customs Audio Attenuation Board

The real-estate is a bit limited on the smaller board, but the S-Video could be swapped for an 8-Pin mini din to use RGB out instead.

Thoughts? Clearly, getting this right is important and feedback from you all helps. On the bigger MV-2 additional options could be available since there is more "meat" on the cover. And I will have all of the parts available on my site when it's done. Admittedly I have a bunch of them sitting next to me now!

Got side art. I'd need to hunt around to see if anyone created a replica of the instruction card space. I can do it with proper dimensions and a high res scan.

It needs a little work to setup for cutting and printing at the right side. Shoot me an email or PM and we can discuss.
