Hi everyone,

Selling tested and working NBA Jam w/ sound board and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 boards. Looking for $50 on the NBA Jam and $160 on the UMK3, shipping included in US or Canada.

TL;DR of the posts below: ebay prices are generally 160-180 PLUS shipping, I'm offering $160 inc shipping.

I have an EPROM burner and stuff so if you're looking for a specific revision (MK characters in NBA Jam etc) I can burn them and swap them out for free!

I'm not questioning your price at all, please understand that. Has UMK3 really gone up that much? I've had all the MKs for years but haven't kept up on the market at all.

Last one I saw was $160 shipping not included. I'm by *no* means any authority on pricing, that's just what I happen to remember seeing.

EDIT: But who knows what my memory's worth today, it already proved faulty in this thread! XD

Hey,
Actually I was just going off what I saw the most successful eBay auctions.. like:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Midway-ULTIMATE-...ultDomain_0&hash=item27b4343f14#ht_2470wt_911

and

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Mortal-Kombat-3-...ultDomain_0&hash=item3f02c17527#ht_2140wt_914

Both of which end up at around/above $180 after shipping. And some others that BINed at $175, $160 etc plus shipping.

Plus I'll burn whatever revision you want!

I'm not rock solid on the price, but I don't think what I'm asking is outrageous. I could just toss it up on eBay and should get $160 plus shipping no problem.

Id hate to see you list it on ebay..

Thing about Ebay is that you loose 12-15% after its all said and done
once you add in the fees. Here you dont have any listing or closing costs.
Hence the better pricing that we offer eachother here.

$160.00
- 12%
-------------
$140.80

Id give you that much if youd take it. Ive got a Cab I could put this in.

Possibly true, but I'd have no trouble getting $160-$180 PLUS shipping on eBay.

I'm in Canada, shipping this stuff out isn't cheap.. $20 minimum to most states.

$160 shipped. New price.

From my point of view, if I'm going to lose 12% anyway, here or eBay, why wouldn't I just put it on ebay for the protection :)

(just kidding, I know paypal/ebay offers no protection for sellers)

The UMK3 PCBs for $180 on ebay usually have the manual and the Marquee that
come with it.

If your asking $180 for just the PCB its a little high.

If you can get it great, I cant fault that.

Acem77 was asking $120.00 + Ship this July.

A year ago Finerion was selling his for $65 here on the Neo Sales thread.

I bought my UMK3 PCB for $80....

....in 2004, I think.

Since then, they seem to skyrocket constantly. Naked boards are definitely worth at least $140 in shitshape and just go up from there.

May also note that the EPROMs are uncovered.. sloppy work I must say.

Hope it all works out for you though. I just listed mine on eBay with a Best Offer button.

Pretty close. You got an $11 discount from my estimate. :P

yeah saved some money and picked up
the Marquee worth $20+ and that book is cool to have, it sells for
$20+ on Amazon.com

So I guess they don't all sell for $180+ after all.

Wow, nice hostility there justin.

I think the sloppy work comment and the
fact that you would rather sell on ebay because you would have seller
protection was enough BS for me Webmiester.

But hey you saved me some money so thanks.

Boom, roasted?

You can't take arcade prices too seriously lately. I picked up a few copies of Guilty Gear for < $30USD and sold an MK1 for $160.... wha?

I dunno what's going on lately, but sellers have the right to set their price.... even though it's infuriating sometimes. I am going to say I generally find better quality on the Geo forums than anywhere else. I've gotten scratched GD-ROMs, NAOMI IC's with broken housings, etc from Sega-Naomi.com. Klov... well, I don't usually go there anymore. I don't think I've managed to pick anything up that didn't have a crack in the PCB or that wasn't covered in Garage dust.

I imported Hokuto no Ken for cheaper than a member here had it. That was somewhat of a mistake - for $20 more, I could've had the original art work and a real instruction manual. Both of which the buyer I got mine from said were included - he didn't mention they were black and white xerox. Bastard.

I bought mine for around $75 back in May of this year. I also bought a back up w/ marqee for $55 of ebay last month.

Great!

Do you want to sell it for $50? Would you like to buy an MK1 from me for $160?

If the answer is 'no' to any of the above, then just see my post that came before yours.

Nice work.

I have seen those prices from time to time too and just didnt jump on them.
I just found out my brother in law is coming up next month so I wanted to
have it here, when he gets here.
Didnt have time on my side.

I wonder why the sudden surge in UMK3 pricing?? Double in 6 months has to be a record.
