SSIA. Purchased from the Neo Store many moons ago, and I've played it, um, maybe three times? Dunno, not much anyway.

Near-mint - mint condition, just as I recevied it basically. Time for it to find a new home.

No large marquee with this as it was never supplied with one, so wysiwyg. Hopefully price is fair, couldn't find too much info on a kit, just loose boards.

£250 + shipping from Canada.

Never knew people had issues with the store... not that way at least. Anything I've ever bought from Shawn has always arrived... :eyesclosed:

It always feels odd to see the PCB games. Like I know they exist…but it’s like some bizarro world stuff

I suppose it shows how far the hardware had come in the 14 or so years since its inception - that by the end you could have the cart (two pcbs) and the mobo (one pcb) all combined into something smaller than the very first MVS mobos.

Nowadays I suppose it would all just come on an SD card.

I mean the reality is a skillful engineer could drop an entire Neo Geo and the full library on an off the shelf FPGA chip on a board probably the size of a coaster. Most of the space would be for ports

Or maybe if a supergun had a vertical female JAMMA edge you could just consider these one giant cart?

All about perspective. Glws

I love how it really looks like a Neo Geo with a cart in it, somebody sat on it, and bam flat :D

IIt uses a lot of the same chips as an MV-1C. They aren't really smaller than one either.

yeah, I wasn't refering to the MV-1C, was more over referring to the original launch MVS mobos which were pretty big iirc.

Yeah. MV-1C is from 1999, so I'm thinking they made little progress in those 4 years. They may have used many surplus old chips.
