Dude, I wish you luck, I used to drive a BMW 1200, pretty cool, then I fell down, produced a fucked up scar on my chick's left hand and got a broken knee.

Cool bike GA!! Let me ask you this, when you ride do you wear knee pads, elbow pads, etc. or do you just go freestyle?!? I've seen some pretty heavy wipeout video clips for dirt bike racers . . . just wondered!!

Do you have a road bike? My buddy rides and he is trying to get me to buy a bike too. I have visited the websites (kawasaki, suzuki, yamaha, & honda) and REALLY like the R1. I was wondering if you could help me out and tell me if it's a good machine?

Yeah I sure do have a road bike man. A GSXR 1000 but the R1 is definately a nice bike. I would suggest if you have never had a bike before though to go with something a little more smoother. The R1 is a fast bike as cafe racers go. Maybe a 600 Ninja for a couple years then move up to a 1200 or so? Just a suggestion.

Dirt bike racing = no good. J/k.

I prefer motorcycles to dirt bikes. I'd rather be screaming down the highway at 200MPH on a 1300cc Suzuki Hayabusa redlining at like 12 grand. But to each man his own. Dirt bike racing is just as nuts....those jumps are scary as hell! Good luck with it man.

Oh yeah, just wanted to ask you since you have a Gixxer 1000. Have you seen the "Walser" Supra run away from that bike from a rolling start race? That was absolutely brutal. That is a sick sick car. Any car that can not just walk away, but run away from the Suzuki Hayabusa is nuts.

Actually the age is what brought me back to Motocross racing. The experts say it is the most strenuous sport next to Soccer there is and in the last 10 years I have been putting more weight on than I care to have so really it is about the funnest way I could think of to stay in shape. It is hell getting old
