FM Towns Marty Drive Belt

Hi,

Anyone here ever replace a fm towns marty disk drive belt? Mine needs to be replaced and I got replacement on its way to me and I was wondering how difficult it is to install.

On a model 1? It's very easy, especially if you've ever done work inside a system before. (Although I assume it's very similar, a model 2 might be different.)

Tools needed:
- phillips head screwdriver
- your fingers

Steps:
- 5 screws hold the case together from the bottom
- 2 more screws hold the disk drive in place.
- disconnect the ribbon cable
- carefully lift the drive out

Flip if upside down and you'll have access to the belt

I replaced it on my fm towns marty 2. It was extremely easy and it took less than10 minutes.

I got the belt from ebay seller http://stores.ebay.com/Andy-Games-Japan

I bought it at the beginning of the month just in case I would need it in the future. I didnt expect to use it the following week after receiving it. Arg....
