.... go get it, NOW. The quality is insane, especially the sound. $10 off today for new release.

Sort of off topic, but what's with the MTV Liquid Television disc they're tossing in with it? Anything noteworthy or more of an afterthought than I think it might be? So tempted, I is...

My favorite episode is where she gets cloned.

Are you going to see the movie with Charlize Theron?

I might go to Best Buy for this but I'd have to wait for the xBox fanboys to clear out first.

Its not a separate disc, its on the Special Features disc that has a whole bunch of other little extras. Its the Liquid TV shorts, haven't watched it all as im starting with disc 1 first.

Maybe it'll be in tomorrows fry's ad.

HAHA I knew the Fry's was coming.

I got it at Suncoast by me, no regular stores carry anything good. Im sure its $10 off elsewhere but probably only for today for new release. Either way its worth whatever the price.

far as LMTV goes, I'll always be a The Head man.

course I didn't fully understand Aeon Flux since I was probably around 4 when it came out, I'm interested in watching it now that I'm older.

If they ever have more than 2 in stock, yes.

That's almost never a problem at the Fry's here. The only new release sale items that were sold out by the time I got there was Thundercats vol.1 and the Family Guy Movie. And I slacked on going to get Thundercats.

This is where the magic of price matching rears it's welcome head. Tried calling Suncoast about the 10 bones off thing- all they were offering was a free calendar. 32 bones and a calendar = too rich for my preference.

Fry's capitalism abuse will hopefully save the day.

So now I'm reading that Circuit City is offering the Liquid Television disc as a bonus, while you can get the Series' soundtrack if you pick it up from Best Buy. I hate to hound, but I'm rather interested in what extra, if any, is worth the purchase.

AGREED!

im beginning to miss that purple foul-mouthed little alien...and the tv series wasnt too bad either, but nothing beats the mini-series...ah...those were the good days before MTV swept into shallowness and medioctrity

one of these days, they will hopefully release a "The Head" DVD set...that would pwn on an imense level.

edit: i would totally go for a Liquid Television/Cartoon Sushi DVD set as well :D

I will be buying this immediately.

Now give The Maxx the same fucking treatment for Christ's sake.

Leave The Head in the dumpster where it belongs.

Didn't they only make about 5 episodes of The Maxx?

13 episodes.

They released a VHS tape, and cut the 8th episode (along with tweaking with the soundtrack.)

They also released a Flux DVD a few years ago - it's now out of print. I own that too, but it is edited in a similar way to the Maxx VHS. I hope the video/audio quality on the new Flux release is better than the quality on the DVD I already own. I also hope it's unedited.

I have a The Head TV to DVD transfer somewhere, that show stinks. The Maxx on the other hand rocks my browneye. Most of Liquid Televison was garbage. Remember Dog Boy (or whatever that piece of shit was called?)

Haha I was really young when I watched it on MTV, so I know I didn't completely understand all of it, but I definitely loved it... I'm way excited about the movie, and I'm pretty sure Charlize Theron will do an awesome job playing Aeon. It's just too bad she's not wearing the original costume =\

Yeah, Liquid Television did suck. Beavis & Butthead, Aeon Flux, and The Maxx were just about the only things that came out of there worth mentioning. Dog-Boy and pretty much everything else was ass.

Picked up the Flux shizzle at Best Buy, $26.99, last copy they had. Apparently it has a free music CD inside. WOWOWOW
