What like the PR57?

Law enforcement and criminals can own said pistol though.

I do you one crazier, I want a p50 5.7 mm semi automatic pistol

Yeah man the PR57 is cool. I don’t give a fuck.

I noticed you wrote “law enforcement and criminals” can own it.

I’d just have written “criminals.”

PSA on a budget is not bad!
I'm a PSA Convert.

I have a PSA AR15 and I get good groupings with it. It feels well built. I've had no malfunctions with it. It was one of theirs that they say is $980 and had on sale for $550. How different is that to their ones that are $550 with no sale? IDK. Is it really worth $980 in parts? No idea.

I've heard from their CEO that they're not interested in actually making money, and just want to make the best inexpensive firearms as possible to get them in the hands of as many people as possible. I'd love to know the profit margins they have in comparison.

I'm probably going to get a PSA Dagger instead of a Glock 17

Morning, fellas...

Being laid up after a spinal fusion, I've found myself rather bored...so I decided to come on here and talk about my favorite hobby.

For the most part, I haven't purchased many firearms since I was last talking about this, but I did pick up a 6" Colt Python, in blue, when they released them in early 2024. Being such a fan of reloading, I shot the snot out of that gun last summer, taking it out 22 times (yeah, I document that shit...whatever). I exclusively run 357 magnum through it, I didn't buy it to shoot specials. I'll admit that honestly, I've always wanted one, and had fond memories of shooting 357 revolvers when I was a kiddo. What I didn't expect is just how much I'd enjoy the thing. Also owning S&W revolvers, I didn't expect it to be that much different, but it just is. I can't place my hand on it, but the pistol is exceptionally well balanced, especially with the 6" barrel. Either way, it was a 9/10 pickup, I have no regrets.

My second pickup for 2024 was not so successful. I bought a Springfield Armory Ronin in 10mm. That gun has been, well, interesting. I'm sure if you dug though this gargantuan thread, you'd find somewhere that I stated I wasn't the biggest fan of 1911s...and honestly, I'm still not. They're beautiful pistols, and I've long wanted to add another to my collection...but I didn't want to drop well over $1K to do so, and I didn't want to F around with 45 Auto...so 10mm it was (I've long been fascinated with that round, and wanted to reload it). In short, where the Python is easy to shoot...this thing is a handful. I bought it mid year, so I only took it out 11 times, but I did make a ton of rounds to play with. When you're down near the 40 S&W range (say 180g round, just over 1000 fps), it is ok...but take those 180g to 1300 fps, or 200g to 1200 fps (the way Norma, and god, intended)...and the thing is rowdy. My accuracy with it sucks, and I only marginally improved with it over my sessions. I let a few people shoot it and where they'd often turn to me after pulling the trigger on the Python and say something like "wow...this thing is nice", with the Ronin, they're often more in the ballpark of "Damn, this thing is hard to control"

I know, weight, geometry, bla, bla, bla. In short, the Ronin is just a rowdy gun that is difficult to shoot, sure is good looking, though.

Either way, once I'm back on my feet, I'm looking forward to another solid season of shooting.

Lastly, for now, my next purchase it going to be a Ruger Super Blackhawk in 44 mag, 4". I borrowed a friends Vaquero last winter (also in 44 mag), and enjoyed the hell out of it, but I wany adjustable sights...so the SBH it is. That probably won't be until 2026, though.

Trump has no ethos other than self-enrichment.

In his first term he ordered the BATFE to declare bump-stocks as machine guns. ATF did this, despite having no authority to do so (only congress could do this by, surprise, passing a law) and it took until 2024 to get SCOTUS to overturn this.

He has even stated to take the guns first and have the courts figure it out later.

He is an anti-gun statist just like (surprise) all the other coastal elite lizard people.

That said he has appointed judges who have been favorable to gun rights generally.
