I would be amazed if they got it completely accurate to the modern release. Obviously it had to be reprogrammed.

Let's hope that they add some exclusives to it. AFAIK, for their other game, Xenocrisis, only the AES/MVS version has voice overs during all cutscenes. Even the Neo CD version is missing the voice overs.

I like that the Neo version will be the first version to get an additional playable character. From the looks of it, it's one of the boss characters that will be added to the roster. Hopefully, she'll have the updated costume on the right. I think it's a nicer design without the backwards ball cap, oversized boxing gloves and the slightly more feminine and less muscular look.

Can't help but notice that all their hardware issues for both games so far came from the need to go with recorded music. I already expected a non-chiptune soundtrack for Final Vendetta since it already has a full CD quality soundtrack in the modern release.
I hope for simplicity they employee Deflemask for their future Neo Geo releases. The MD Xeno Crisis soundtrack rearranged for the YM2610 would've been fire.

Must be a test version that starts on stage 6. Gameplay looks a little boring from the footage, but I've never played the modern version.

Honestly I'm in this mindset now. Requested to cancel my order and get a refund.
I know what u mean, I'm done pre-ordering any shit. From now own I'm just waiting till it's in stock if i happen to miss out oh well. Just way to long to have money tied up. I can't imagine how long it will take them to get around to Neo version of Battle Axe.

Some of these are pre-order or nothing. You snooze you lose. But I don't really have the fomo anymore. I plan to back off on doing Youtube videos for new releases on the system in the future.

The ironic thing is that Golden Axe, released in 1989, made it to the neo geo first.
People should be banned from developing homebrew/indie games for the Neo Geo - nobody has even come close to anything SNK put out... even their shitty stuff.

I got Final Vendetta on Switch years ago at this point for like $4.99, I love the Neo and all but it was never an official game and is available much cheaper other places I agree.
