Get it on your HD. Take some peeks. And wait for the English Subs.

There are actually some Subs included in the torrent but I'm not sure what Language they are for, I think its either JP subs or Dutch or something.

Subs are Japanese. You can just swap the subs file when its translated in English.

My Download just finished and I'm seeding it. It was really fast almost 200kps.

I wanted to watch just a few seconds of it, but I got sucked in and watched like 10 minutes. This is absolutely incredible, and the quality of the rip is pretty decent.

Goddamn this film is going to/ does own.

You can always wait until November when it's released state side for subs as well.

Rumor has it, however, that the DVD may contain JUST an English dub, no Japanese version. That's just rumor however, as I believe Columbia has the rights to the DVD and their past releases have been dual language or subbed only, if I'm not mistaken.

Of course, anyone looking for the Last Order Anime which was included in the $300 Ultra Edition R2 JPN DVD... will have to find other means of obtaining it. Evidently the 2 disc US release includes a lot of extras on the second disc, just not the Last Order Anime OVA. Supposedly it's pretty short anyway, but it's not going to be included.

I don't get that. Why wouldn't they include it? I mean, if it's that short it couldn't take that long to translate. Hell there are probably people who would be willing to translate it for free.

Those both kinda suck dude.

Make sure your xvid codecs are up to date, and Use windows media player classic.

http://www.divx-digest.com/software/media_player_classic.html

Someone on another board provided a link for some codecs so now it plays fine. I'm not sure what makes WMP suck so much, it works fine for everything I use it for.

Either way, no codec will change the fact that I can't understand a word of Japanese. :crying:

But, based on the 15 or so minutes I watched of the movie, it will be great. But someone let me know the MINUTE a fansubbed version comes out.

Maybe they wanted too much money to allow Columbia to license it? Then again, isn't it a Sony released thing anyway (Sony=Columbia)?

My guess is that they want to ensure the Japanese and people who imported it and paid $300+ feel "special." I know I'd be a little pissed if I were Japanese, paid $300 for the movie and the US got the same shit (minus all those pack in extras) for $20.

Awesome, thanks for the link.

I'm downloading it now, but how exactly do you play the subs with the movie? Please explain this as you would to a five year old.

Put the sub file in the same folder as the video. Make sure they have the same name. If you're using Windows media player, look under:
Play>Captions and Subtitles - make sure that is set to "On if available"

Then you should be all set.

PS: Thanks to Curt and Baseley for the links.
