Yeah, it's not sluggish most of the time, but it does have points where it'll hang. Though that happens rarely. I was only saying it that way because I haven't had a chance to compare the one from the original FFTA next to the A2 AI. The AI is better I'll admit. Which clan trail where you goin for? I kinda stopped bothering with them after a while....

Just one of the first.."General Training". It was just after I got the game. I figured I'd try for one of the harder titles(the middle level rank vs the beginner one) with my low level characters.

Wow, that was a mistake. I lost ten clan points in a matter of a couple minutes. :lolz:

Odd... I think that's the one I went for too, though I might've had a chance to level a bit.

I played for a few hours today...I actually love all the micromanaging and minute statistical details that this game seems to hinge on.

And the surprise new weapons from the bazaar are great, although that is hardly a revolutionary concept in RPGs. I love the names and weapon types though...Rust covered Helms, Grime covered guns...

it's a lil too much micro managing at times.

Not enough weapons, so i have to keep switching Jobs to make sure i get the most out of my time.

And classes unlocked through quests means you have to watch the board often.

Yeah sadly there is no multiplayer to speak of. Still a good game though.

yeah i had high hopes for wifi mini battles.
that woulda been badd ass.

With the lack of any CG so far, maybe they were low on space?

So, has anyone noticed a difference b/w normal and hard? Any benefits etc?

I'm still working on normal...I got caught up in all the side quests, auctions, etc.

The back of the box says "hundreds of hours" of gameplay. I'm determined to test this theory. So far I've logged 25 hrs, mostly on stuff unrelated to the main quest.

I love the damn auctions :D

OK the auctions don't give you anything nice until you become region master. When you get the chance to (i.e. you've unlocked/visited all areas in a region) go to that region's auction house. Win each area in one sitting. You have to do this if you want anything else from that specific auction house. Once you've done this you get really nice equipment up for auction with a bonus item if you manage to win em' all in one sitting.

Just FYI the region breakdown is this:

Camoa Region- 3 areas (In no specific order)
1. Camoa
2. Targ Wood
3. Baptiste Hill

Graszton Region - 4 areas
1. Graszton
2. The Bisga Greenlands
3. The Aldenna Range
4. Zedler Forest

Moorabella Region - 4 areas
1. Moorabella
2. The Rupie Mountains
3. The Galerria Deep
4. The Ruins of Delgantua

Flourgis Region - 4 areas
1. Flourgis
2. Saint D'alsa Bluff
3. Tramdine Fens
4. Nazan Mines

Goug Region - 4 areas
1. Goug
2. The Neslowe Passage
3. Aisenfield
4. Kthili Sands

Also if you feel like you need more tokens, master the auction record for number played which IIRC is participate in 20 separate auction matches (bidding sessions) you'll probably want to do that for later.

I picked this up Sunday night and have been playing non-stop since then. I can't put the damn thing down. Always trying one more quest to get that new weapon, ability, or job.

You don't have to. Takes place in same world, but different storyline.

Yea...Square Enix has this "Ivalice Alliance" thing going on now, ie all the games set in Ivalice seem to carry this logo now.
