FF Advent Children has been officially delayed for the US market.

While I would never underestimate the speedy-ness of the fansub community. I would expect it to take longer than a day.

But In all likelyhood fansubbers will get hold of it before the 14th.

Built in Subs would be great though.

It was announced at E3 in May that FF7:AC will be released world wide on the 14/15 of Sept. Check any major publication (IGN, Gamespot, Gamepro, etc etc). So both Region 1 and 2 will be released. I'm sure both will have the same Language options, just boot differently. And, I'm pretty skeptical if Square will have even bothered with a US language track. Old news or not, the release date is a month away and warrants attention.

Also was unsure if it was going to have a simultaneous release wordwide, and this thread was meant to be used for fact finding.

Heh, well, I have the Japanese regular LE version on preorder at Play Asia, but of course I'm cancelling if I can't get confirmation on whether or not it has english subs. I've read it should, but I can't find any confirmation anywhere.

Well the E3 stuff said it's going to be simultaneous. I figure I'll buy the domestic one, and if it doesn't have subs, there will be a fansub of the japanese version online in a day or so.

Tell me about it that tech demo looked so damn awesome. To be honest though I would rather see a remake and slight tweak of FF8. I felt it had the strongest chars and storyline. If they could just tweak the battles so summons would not rule most battles it would be perfect.

The Limited Edition 'Last Order' Anime sounds interesting as well, i'd love to see the fansubbers get a hold of that as well.

Supposedly Last Order isn't going to be in our version, so I'd have to download it anyway. Kind of a stupid decision if you ask me. I mean, why not include it?
