This game is available on GGPO and Supercade if anyone wants to play. Here are a few videos on A3 V-ism (the site is a goldmine, but mostly for A2). Daigo's first trip to America was to play Alex Valle in A3. I'd like to run a tournament sometime before the end of the month and stream it, I think that would be fun.

So, How's everyone playing Alpha/Zero 3 - Alpha 3 has always been on of my favorite fighters so I've purchased quite a few different versions over time.

Right now I've got a couple different setups going:

1. PVM with the PS2 Alpha Anthology
2. Dreamcast version through a scanline emulator - haters gonna hate but I really like this version
3. The CPS2 board on my NAC

Can you create some sort of structure or guidline for people to follow here? Can you present what the actual concept/purpose of this "club" is?

Maybe it's just a way for the OP to justify owning his toys. Want to learn how to play Alpha 3? Go lurk on shoryuken.

I get that polls and popularity contests are fun, and people love casting a vote for the sake of it, but folks here barely contribute to game of the month clubs even when a clear criteria is presented i.e. score.

OP, maybe you should create a table for each character, and if someone miraculously presents any information (which will be something widely documented and universally known, no doubt), this thread can at least serve as some sort of rudimentary database.

True, but I find playing 1 player on KOF98 more entertaining than SFA3. But my all time fave 1 player fighter would have to be SFZ2A.

I really don't understand what's so confusing. The idea is simple. People pick a fighter of the month. They play the fighter of the month and talk about it. I never thought that when I started the thread that people would be in such dire need of direction. A good Fighting game is just fun. I mean, either if your trying to master a character's move set, training with the AI or if your playing with some buddies, it's an enjoyable experience.

Alpha 3 was a big favorite when I was younger. My buddies and I would met up almost every night and play the playstation port. Then, a few times a week we would go to the local arcade and try our hand at beating the talent in the area. Those where good times, we where all working and going to school. We would all get together at around 10pm and the arcade was open to 3am.

I used to exclusively play with Rolento. He was a great match against people that used Ryu and Ken. Sadly, I really suck with him these days. Recently, I've been playing mainly with Sakura and Akuma.

I would love to get some versus going. What's the deal with SUPERCADE ebinsugewa?

Yeah, not really sure what's so confusing about it. Similar in concept to a book club, but with video games and no old ladies. Play the game, talk about and discuss the game.
