Abyss is a much better final boss than TvC's Yami or MvC3's Galactus. Having three forms that look and fight nothing alike is awesome. They're all paper tigers, though.

I never played MvC2 a whole lot, but my main team was Mags/Sent/CapCom.

bump!

I had an idea. So what if the fighter of the month thing wasn't about score, but getting ppl to try something new in a game they already know. I was thinking about calling it "Getting out of your comfort zone". I dunno if you guys are like me, but I ALWAYS play the same characters in fighting games. I pick somebody I like and I stick with them FOREVER, never really trying anyone else. It's usually someone with a ryu/ken moveset, or just somebody who looks cool. So what if we picked a game for the month, then deliberately play as characters we either don't know, or know we aren't good with. Perhaps we could even propose challenges to each other to see who can get the furthest with a specifically shitty character. I think this might add some life to the games we've been playing for a while, and I'll be honest, I'm never gonna play as Dhalsim in Alpha 2, but I would if someone challenged me :)

You know...I would love to get something like this going again. I forgot to do it the next month, then the month after and then just said fuck it. The other part of it was, I never stopped playing alpha 3.

So maybe pick a game then pull three characters?
