Does anyone else have this on DVD? I finally got this in the mail today, after years of searching.

But thing is, I've noticed some oddities about this DVD.

The first thing that struck me was that it has the newer Viz logo in the corner, whereas my DVD of "Fatal Fury Double Impact" has the oldschool Viz logo and a Pioneer logo. I expected The Motion Picture to be the same.

The disc itself has a gold-colored label with a picture of Terry punching you. All the logos are there as is the viz.com web address.

Now, I'm aware there's an anime bootleg industry, so my first thought was "this is a bootleg dolled up to look official," but when I watched it, it all looked legit (though for some reason the lettering on the menus looks like the font from the first Diablo game) and the video quality is great, like I'd expect from a legit product. The subtitles for some reason are white, whereas on Double Impact they were yellow.

So if anyone else has this DVD, can you upload scans or just describe your copy so I can tell whether I got a legit one or not?

Thanks.

My copy of Double Impact has the new Viz logo and no Pioneer Logo. My copy of Motion Picture (former Blockbuster rental) has the old Viz Logo and the Pioneer logo.

The double impact disk is turquoise with Andy and Terry on it. My MP disk is gold with Mai on it.

If there's a Double Impact with similar logos, then I'm probably just looking at a later print run of the movie.

Works for me.

It's a damn fine movie too, with the only drawback being the final showdown.
