It would be great if they don't take things too seriously and there's an ending where Ryo is all steamed that Robert borrowed his mask, or Robert beat Ryo in a sparring match so therefore he's the king of karate. That would be better than something Uber serious like Ryo was on his death bed and made Robert promise to carry on the legacy of Mr karate...

Agreed. So are Preecha’s glasses. You can’t even edit them out in create-a-chara mode. If you are squaring up for an agreed upon fight…glasses and watches come off.

This was pretty great.

I love how stupid these fighting game stories are sometimes.

• A kyokugenryu bear that is a student and no one even questions it
• Tengu masks in the 20th century WTF
• Robert driving his 6 million dollar car through a building's front door followed by huge explosions and not a scratch on the vehicle
• Terry casually calling Robert Garcia on the phone to tell him Mr. Big has become a Kyokugenryu dojo buster
• Are they implying that Yuri lives with Robert now? Did they finally hook it up?

So much damn fun!

Tried Rob-, er, Mr. Karate out this morning.

Fun character. He has all of the reliable moves you remember but some of them performed a little differently. I love that he can taunt to reduce the enemy's gauge and that he can charge his own gauge. There is a lot of neat new stuff for him as well. Not sure about the coat or the casual fighting stance but these are nitpicks. He's still Rob-, ern Mr. Karate. Surprised Mr. Big isn't his sub boss (Terry makes little sense to me) but Marco is a good final boss for him, given the lore of AoF and how it intermingles with Fatal Fury.

Good times. I kind of want Obari to do an Art of Fighting anime now, but it'll never happen.

I don't like the coat as a cape thing.
I hate it on C. Viper too.
They should ditch them at the beginning on the match like Krauser does his armour.

Nowhere near Rick looks like the cyborg from Out Zone. It is implied in Jeeno's 1P ending from Batsugun that he is the 1P cyborg character, if you look at the jacket's color.
