Im located in Belingham, Washington

Searching for a Cabinet in good working order and in fair Cosmetic condition.

What would be considered fair market value or
reasonably priced for the following Neo Geo cabinets?

1 Slot. Price?

2 Slot. Price?

4 Slot. Price?

6 Slot. Price?

many of you are located in Central or east coast US and I have wondered Outside Ebay what would be a good way to search for a good/great condition
Neo Geo Cabinet?
Also Any recommendations for shipping I heard some are using NAVL
good bad reviews of shipping companies?

thank you in advance

JustinS :)

Oh my goodness! you're in Bellingham. you're one of the first people i've seen on here that lived in washington and DIDN't live in the seattle area. I live in Yakima BTW, but sadly I don't have a cab for sale. :crying:

Wish I could help more, but if you're looking for a candy cab with a neo setup...there's always Matsu.

prices can really range with the different neo cabs. sometimes you can get lucky and score a cab w/ a one slot for as little as $100..other times it can get pretty spendy.

paid 350 for a 2 slot gold cab

my 4 slot big red was obtained by going ito a local used game shop and asking the owner to sell me nam75 out of his big red that "wasn't working".
told me nam75 wasn't for sale by itself, but he was thinking about getting rid of the cab because it "didn't work". i offered him 350, took it home and found a spare 4 slot board in the bottom of cab that did work minus sound.

all that was just a pointless way to say each cab cost me 350.

350 seems fair

yeah ive seen a couple on ebay in the 350 range for a 2 slot.

Wondered what was fair market value on the various slots

How hard is it to convert to a larger slot MVS?

(say 2 slot to 4 slot or even 6 ?)

I think its smart to hit up arcade vendors. They aren't making as much money with the Neo Cabs anymore. Kids are playing the latest and greatest.
Seems its a good time to buy a Cab with Wii, PS3, and XBox360
Taking over video games.

You guys notice that?

Opinions?

Was trying to come up with a good way to hit up Arcade Vendors so they dont try and take advantage.

The difference is only the stereo, game select and test switch.

stereo, game select and test switch??

On a 2 slot....

To revamp to a 4 slot you would do what exactly?

Soldier? or plug into the 4slot?
Related to the stereo, game select and test switch

Reason im asking is because I have a 2 slot on the way and
I havent had a look in one for a while (since i was a Kid)
Also a 2 slot already has a select button and wiring and test switch i believe.
Plus im new to the whole swaping thing.
Sorry for the the Newbie question..

thank you for your help
I really appreciate it.

If its a genuine 2 slot dedicated cab it will already be MVS rather than JAMMA, so you shouldnt have to do anything, just plug and play the larger mother board.
