Mixed labels on the 4 I bought. SamSho5, SamSho5 Special, and Sonic Wings 3 were Japanese, Pochi & Nyaa was English.

These carts are in the best condition of any I have ever bought.

Special was japanese release only, i thought.

Anyway, I made an inquiry last night regarding SSVS and was told it was sold out, but then I received a notice less than half an hour later stating that their supplier got some more in stock for $188US. Even then, it sounds like a heck of a deal assuming that it's legit.

I emailed excellentcom and in their reply, they seemed to suggest it was cart only. After seeing the condition that the slugs were in, I was kinda hesitant.

If it doesn't say "brand new kit" then it's not a kit. Unless it's in the hands of a collector like the folks around here then chances are some arcade op tossed out the box and slapped the stickers on a cab somewhere.

I'd be paying with paypal, but your price list , which is dated yesterday Dec. 19, has SS5 Special for $138 not $188. I double checked it. If the price has changed i would hope you could honor the price quoted to me as $138.

My guess would be that maybe they tested it working on a 1 slot board. That's the only logical thing I can think of.

But as far as the SSVS price is concerned, the unfortunate thing I've noticed with them and Coinopexpress is that their suppliers tend to set the price. They probably see that the last stock they sold to excellentcom flew off the shelves at $138 so why not charge $50 more? It's the nature of the beast.

I hope my carts ship soon, I had to wait for them to get in more Slug 3 and Waku Waku 7. They said they'd be in this week so it should be any day now.

I e-mailed them a few weeks ago, when the SSVS carts were $138 and they said I could buy one and they would e-mail me an invoice, so I could issue payment. I waited a week and never got one, so I e-mailed them and they were sold out and the new batch of carts would be $188. I thought it was kind of lame that they never sent me the invoice, but I guess its partially my fault for waiting a week to follow up. $188 is still a great deal though and I will probably try and buy from them again.

Don't feel bad I went through Arcadeshock to get my SSVS like a day before this thread was made. I would've felt bad cancelling on Trieu like that though because he was holding one for me, and I like to support his store.

I did get my second order from Excellentcom today though, Matrimelee, and Metal Slug 2. Both in fantastic condition once again.

Well, I received my first order from Excellentcom 2 days ago for SSVS, Waku Waku 7, and Real Bout 2.

SSVS was in great condition overall. There were insertion marks, but that's generally unavoidable. Real Bout 2 looked like it was barely used, but Waku Waku 7 was in ok condition. From what I could tell, all the carts were legit. I didn't get any move stickers, mini marquees, or anything of the sort though.

ECL doesn't usually send more than what you pay for. I have only gotten one thing extra from any of my purchases from them which was an mvs box with the label removed that was housing some buttons that I ordered. Some other places, however have around the same pricing and oftentimes DO send extras (though not always). I did think it odd though when I got my motw with a mm printed on regular paper, but hey... can't complain... it was free.

Dude these prices are probably the cheepest you will find. Shipping is another story however. If you dont' mind waiting about 15 days, the airmail shipping is reasonable. If you want you're game withing 4 or 5 however, you're gonna pay for it.
