Songbird says that they're gonna wait a week or two so they can see how the tariffs affect them and their suppliers, but they plan to take preorders for all the games.

Anyway, there are actually two new free games that come with the new firmware update.

To unlock Showdown (2020 C64 indie game), simply select the secret option in the menu and type in pewpew on the on screen keyboard.

To unlock The Sword of Stone (2024 indie Game Gear game), you have to sign up for the Evercade newsletter and they'll send you a code that can be used on as many as 5 different Evercades. You can find the link in the Evercade menu itself or just go here and put in your email:

In all you should have 11 hidden games unlocked on your EXP/EXP-R and 12 on your VS/VS-R.

This is some bullshit when the previous package with Tomb Raider was $100. To get the same products now is $150? They're trying to use the tariffs, which are only 10%, as a smokescreen for an additional 40% increase.

Apparently Factor 5 doesn't own the rights to Turrican 1 or 2 from C64 or the NES version of Super Turrican, so that's why those aren't included.

IIRC Ziggurat Interactive are the ones who own the Rainbow Arts IPs, including the original C64 versions as well as Rendering Ranger R2
