It's nice but it has limitations. I needed two Micro SD cards - one with all the official carts backed up because Full Void and other games running natively on Linux will crash the console on SD cards over 64GB. So I designed a dummy cart to put in slot two, that unfolds and holds the other SD card.I've been wanting to do that, but it seems I'm lazy.
Sigh. It wouldn't be an Atari arcade cart if it didn't have a bunch of games with controls that may or may not work well on an Evercade controller. Hopefully they'll have better luck here than on Atari arcade 1, but this is an easy pass for me.
They patched in analog stick support near the end of 2024, so at least on the home console you should be able to play most of the formerly unplayable Atari arcade games. Doesn't help with handheld controls, of course, but it's something.Sigh. Some details: Rescue and Mine Field are dual stick games, similar to Robotron. Moon war has an analog roller thing, similar to Major Havoc. Dark planet has a spinner, similar to Tempest. Fire Truck is quite unique with two steering wheels, and was intended to have one player on each wheel to control the front and back of the truck.
It's really better these days to just ignore anything made before the the reboot. There were more than 3 Tomb Raider games???!!!
Also: Goob Raider
The reboot is just Uncharted, though. Exact same game. It's really better these days to just ignore anything made before the the reboot.
I don't think any of the Uncharted or Tomb Raider games, old or new, were all that good. Then or now.It is Uncharted, but better. And both are better than OG Tomb Raider.
So were the original Resident Evil games. That's fair, but the original games were uncontrollable piles of shit.
This is also true.So were the original Resident Evil games.
