The hiphop references reminded me of this.
Has anyone ever played this great fighter? It's for PC... a dojinshi game that took characters from the bishoujo games Kanon, One, and Air and put them into one fighter.
So far the easiest ones to spot are...
SNK:
Nayuki Minase has a repetoire that's based on Chin (although, instead of drinking alcohol, she has a charge up move called "Strawberry Jam is Delicious")
Mai Kawasumi is nearly identical to Hibiki and Moriya put together, even to Hibiki's DM.
Kaori Misaka is Vanessa.
Ikumi Amasawa is the same as Leona, but also with Goenitz's wind columns (except they're blood now).
Mio Koutzukis' f+C is Kyo's qcf+A without the fire.
Mio Koutzuki's air d+C is the same as Kagami's air d+C.
Mio Koutzuki's Ying-Yang Master resembles Akari's charge d,u+B attack.
Rumi Nanase is nearly the same as Amano.
Misaki Kawana = Geese.
Someone (I forgot who) has Akari's DM.
Capcom:
Kaori Misaka's "cyclone upper" is the same as Cody's qcf+P attack in SFZ3.
Someone (I forgot who) has Akuma's SDM (the one where he slides forward, the screen turns black, etc)
Doppel Nanase has Jin Saotome's turn-naked-and-spin-in-a-tornado move from MVC.
Misaki Kawana's df+C is the same as M. Bison's (US) ground slide.
Mio Koutzuki's long-range-mode is a play on Dhalsim.
Mayu Shiina seems to be similar to Vega and Blanka.
Other:
Someone turns into Ciel from Melty Blood, but I forgot who. Speaking of Melty Blood, there's a girl who has Hibiki's qcf+A attack, too (complete with deathly resheath time).
