Can anyone tell me how long EMS shipping should take to arrive (these days)?

If you've used this service, how long did it take for you?

From Japan, HK, Korea, sometimes as little as three days to Michigan.

Last month some arcade stuff I bought took a month to arrive from Mexico via EMS.

Yeah, from what I gather, the speed depends somewhat on which country it's coming from, and going to.
A delivery from Japan to Korea will be super-fast, as an example.

I've had items arrive in the UK from Japan and Hong Kong within three days, the longest time has been five.

Your mileage may vary.

I assume you mean five days (rather than five working days)?

No, I mean 5 working days - it's always working days as EMS lead times do not include Saturday and Sundays. I don't know of any regualr postal service or courier service that classes Saturday and Sunday as "working days".

I’ve ordered stuff on a Saturday and had it on my doorstop Tuesday morning. Since Japan is 15 hours ahead that’s less than three days. EMS is expensive but it is MAGIC.

It helps a lot if it reaches the destination country ahead of the weekend. Although USPS does deliver EMS on Sundays.

Guys it's Joe, you realize this just a random question right? He didn't actually order anything and wants to legitimately know, he's just asking for the sake of asking.

Nooooo fuckin shit, Sherlock. Linear distance math. Lolol
I didn't just mean the distance between the countries. Some countries have more efficient postal services than others, for example.

Remember that SAL is the bad one, not EMS.
My last EMS shipment tracking shows depart Shizuoka Japan on 4/28/2023 at 18:49 to final delivery to the US on 5/3/2023 at 11:29

As far as buying things from Japan, I've noticed a longer delay in processing time than shipping.
Processing: order placed 4/24, shipped 4/28. Not a proxy service.
