Okay, so i won an item on ebay and took a couple of days to reply.. when i did, I was told that the item was already sold, okay i thought whatever, not gonna take it any further. Then, i recieved a reminder to pay my ebay seller email.. I wrote to both parties involved reminding them of it all, which i thought would solve the problem. However, he's now gave me a nonpayment warning 1. Is there anything i can do without having to pay? Or do i have to bite the bullet and buy something again just to stop getting my account closed down? Cheers for any help!

If he told you that he sold your item, then it's his fault. You are under no obligation to pay for anything that you aren't going to receive.

I'm having some ebay probs as well, I bought Silent Hill 2 back on the 1st of the month, sent the payment out on the 4th and I haven't recieved my item yet and this asshole hasn't sent me an e-mail after I've e-mailed him like 7+ times. Any suggestions on what I should do?

I suggest you pay,

because otherwise he might give you a negative... (even if it is his fault)

I take negatives very seriously...and this is what id do

Not a chance would I pay, get ebay involved and neg him as hes going to neg you anyway. The whole point of the feedback system is that you rate how the transaction went, either good or bad. Ive left negs and received negs but at least its helping someone out in the future who might get screwed by the guy. If he gets away with it once hes gonna do it again.

Why once you had won an item did you wait several days before replying to him?

Also there is a new feature available on ebay to sellers called instant payment. You select it and on the auction page it says 'immediate payment required'(or something like that anyway,I think its mainly used on BIN items). When the auction ends the buyer has a certain timeframe to pay via nochex or paypal. If checkout isn't completed within that timefram then the item is relisted automatically and it gives someone else a chance to bid and win.

You lost the item and now someone else has bought it,the reminder you were sent is part of the process that he is going through to reclaim his selling fees that he has lost because of having to relist his item.If you explain to him why you didnt email him after the auction then he may just leave you a neutral or just not leave any feedback at all.

Pay with PayPal then do the payment reversal thing. It flags it as "sold" but you can retireve your money.

Actually, use that ONLY as a last resort. I'd call the motherfucker. Since you have an ongoing deal, you should be able to get ALL of his contact information. Call him up and find out what the fuck is going on, what with him requesting payment for an item he doesn't even own any more.
