Anyway, if these people really liked Pokemon, they would know Nintendo's stance on mobile phone/tablet gaming, had seen that Nintendo didn't publish it, and not been a dollar poorer.

That's what I thought too. I thought Apple screened everything before it went onto the store. But this fake app is number two best selling of the day and number 7 in top grossing titles of the day. It's kinda like that Baby Shaker app that went through a few years ago and even the version of MAME that popped up and vanished within a few hours. I just checked before I went to type this and it's STILL on there. Guess their all off, being President's Day and all.

The only screening Apple does is screening for things that (potentially) hurt Apple's brand-image and/or bottom-line. It's nice being a legal Monopoly.
