"Dynamite Sluggar" case typo.

I'd never noticed before but my girlfriend pointed out that "Dynamite Slugger" is miss-spelt as "Dynamite Sluggar" on the side of the case. The is the UK version. Very odd. Is this rare or anything, or did all of them have this typo?

i bought the jap version for £5 and love it, why does the UK version go for so much? whaaaaaaaaa

Ah yeah, Sluggaer. I don't think the UK version is that rare. The shop I got mine from had copies until only a couple of months ago. Infact when they *occasionally* get ngpc games in stock Dynamite Slugger is usually one of them.

It isn't too rare. But it is worth owning for the comedy typo. I mean, who let that one slip? Were they drunk?

Yeah, I had exactly the same question about a year ago, i thought i had found something special when my UK Clamshell copy was spelt 'Sluggaer' on the spine. But unfortunately most of them are spelt wrong. Sorry ;-)

You have to consider that this is SNK, the original kings of Engrish, that we're talking about here. <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" />

Was the package design done in Europe for the euro release? Or is the same mistake on all versions? And even if it was designed by someone with little grasp of the English language, it still doesn't excuse the inconsistency. Doesn't someone proof read these things?

Yeah... it just seemed VERY odd to me. Somebody would catch that - it's just too glaring. It's almost like it was an inside joke or something <img src="graemlins/spock.gif" border="0" alt="[Spock]" />
