EDIT: THIS MONEY ISN'T GOING TO HIS FAMILY, THEY ARE LOADED. ITS FOR A SCHOLARSHIP FUND SET UP IN HIS NAME. NOBODY NEEDS MONEY - IT'S JUST FOR A SCHOLARSHIP.

Hey fellas.

There is a scholarship fund being set up for my friend Nick who was killed on this day last year riding his motorcycle. Some of you guys may remember the thread I started.

There is a fund being set up in his name and the more the better, as always.

I ask of my friends here to contribute if you can.

I know times are tough, and I'm not begging you for any money - but if you feel this is something you would like to do, I'd really appreciate it.

Please include your FULL NAME with any donation, no anonymous please.

This means a lot to me and you know I'd be there for any of you should something happen.

I know the usual suspects will contribute, and I thank you in advance.

I appreciate what was sent so far.

Please send what you can Via PayPal to digitalshower@hotmail.com titled NICK STUBLER FUND.

I will really appreciate anything you can provide.

I will answer any questions you may have.

Thanks so much for your support.

- Michael DiCioccio

See you guys in a few.

I just sent over a token. I wish it could be more, but you already know my situation.

Take care homey, and I hope your friend's family finds peace.

Nice pics. I always see those roadside memorials, and wonder what the story was behind them.

How old was he?

Glad you guys got the mass text I sent out.

This is for the charity of his parents choice.

All money will go into the fun they decide.

There is also a golf outing for the Nick STUBLER Memorial College Fund.

He was 21.

Thanks for the text heads up. I've been fighting DNS errors on my home machine for the last few, so I wouldn't have caught this otherwise.

I know you said no anonymous.

May I donate in my son's name? These folks lost their son. It would mean alot to me to do it this way.

I don't know if your names are going to be added to a newspaper article or not. I'm collecting all of the names and placing a single donation from Neo-Geo.com to his parents. I'll have the names on a list.

After the outing, they have a list of people who sponsored.

There is a raffle as well.

So, if you want your son's name in a Youngstown newspaper - that's fine.

I'm not 100% sure this will happen though.

Thanks to everyone so far. Hope to raise close to what you guys gave my friend Brian.

Sitting around $400 so far.

Lots committed and will donate later tonight.

Thank you so much.

And to everyone else, thanks.

This really means a lot to me.

Shit, $10-$20 will help.

This isn't as dire as when my buddy needed funds.

So if you can, great.

Can't? No problem.

I'd appreciate my friends getting back to me though, one way or another.

Thanks as always buddy!

I'm gonna leave this open for a week - although I'd like to get most in by tomorrow night, after everyone sees this.

Then I can deposit everything and issue a check. So it's good to go by Friday. No biggie though, I'll see how thngs are going and front whatever I think the total will end up at.

Thanks again guys.

His mom was in better spirits than his dad yesterday... But they are doing good, for what had happened.

This is all positive from here out.

Lots of events being set up in his name.

And I'm happy my friends here are giving me an opportunity to issue a check with a large list of names on it - from an Internet home I've lived at for a decade.

My best friend died in a car accident some years ago; I was not in that car too by a miracle.

His dad also seemed more smashed than his mom, but as time goes by, both of them were able to assimilate it, although the wound is always there.

Scholarship is a truly pretty initiative, which will honour your friend's memory.

He was a great kid. No drugs or shit. Upbeat on life. Had a VERY bright future.

Smart. Everyone loved him.

Tragic as fuck.

I've known him since he was a little kid... Used to call him "stump" cause he was a porker when he was little.

I lost it at the funeral... But time goes on...

Thanks to everyone!

$1, $5, $10, $100+ - it all goes to help someone.

Later!

Keep 'Em coming! Appreciate the help! I'll check in later. Sorry if I'm annoying - just want to make sure all available parties see this. Promise, this will be the only day I'm gonna bump repeatedly.

Thanks again guys! Always a success here!

Going a lot slower than the one last year, but this isn't really a dire situation.

Can't expect people to just hand over money.

Thanks to all that have, I really appreciate your support - it's going to a good cause.

Sent a few more texts out, waiting on some responses.

I'll let this run a bit longer, then I'm just gonna cut a check.

If you know anyone that wants to help, point them here.

Again, much appreciated.
