Maybe they had a prob with the European inet backbone (eBone) in Frankfurt and thus only Europeans were affected.

It was only this site I had a problem with

Regional internet routing is a strange beast... I had the weirdest effects in one region while another one had no probs whatsoever, even though both were connected to the same backbone.

Ah well, poor MySQL has quite a lot of work to do with the ng.com forums, sometimes it needs a bit of spare time...

I'd love to say the problem was just with members outside the united states

But I had some problems connecting to the site around (i believe) 2:30am CST (GMT-6).

I was browsing the forums, clicked on a link, and then all of the sudden a new forum page wouldn't load.

What are we to do without our ng.com?
