In all seriousness, there's no need to draw comparisons between this argument and Hitler. It just clouds the issue.

Anyway, a couple of points of order here:

1) I would say that pretty much every member of this board is moderately adept in English. Is "English only" that unreasonable a rule? I've seen it on other boards, and I believe AOL has it as part of their TOS.

2) Isn't* most of the "foreign-language" threads made up of spam?

*This is referring to the content of the threads, not the threads themselves. So, I'm not really saying "90 out of 100 of the 'foreign-language' threads," I'm saying "90%** of the 'foreign-language' threads."

**This is most likely not the exact percentage; I'm just illustrating a point based on the fact that some people might get a bit anal-retentive.

I've read the thread and there wasn't spamming in it (except in english). The reason I didn't participate is mainly because it was France based and AES. Honestly, I don't think it takes that much space. Like MistressDragon said, if you don't like it don't read it.

I wasn't implying you're a Nazi. If I wanted to imply you as a Nazi, I'd suggest for a thread for only white christians with blong hair and blue eyes. I was implying that you were displaying xenophobia, a fear of people unlike yourself. Fear leads to hate, though, and you don't have ot be a Nazi to be a stupid and hateful person.

This wasn't the first strike against you either. I can't make a complete judgement on you, nor do I care to, but I wouldn't be surprised if you also post homophobe anti-gay statements as well. I don't approve of the gay lifestyle, no. But I do have a gay friend, and I try my hardest to separate the act from the person. "Homophobe" paints the picture that those who disapproval of specific actions are somehow "afraid" of gays. This word was created, IMO, to do away with anyone who takes a stand against Christian teaching. Before you flame, I know that sounds like it's from the KKK manifest or something, but that's only because organizations such as these have distorted Biblical teachings, which on numerous occaisions state that homosexuality is a sin. The Bible never says to hate gays, though. Quite the opposite, it says that you should love everyone. Christians are not the hate mongers that they are made out to be by special interest groups, who in many instances have even less understanding than what they claim Christians to have. (Hating Christians is extremely convienient; they have always been scapegoats. It goes with the territory.) Just remember: it's not hatred of a person or group of people (at least it shouldn't be), it's a disapproval of a lifestyle.

And I'm not immune to harrassment; for years, I was harrassed for being "gay," which I'm not. It got to be so intense I had to be removed from my school district because I was receiving threats, as well as actually being beaten on. Having been there, I know all the more not to not to hate the individual; it does nothing but cause resentment.

That said, I digress. I hope you understand my stance now, Evil, even if you don't agree.

I understand where you're coming from, and I'm honestly not immune to anything either. I'm not a "good" person at all.

But you see, I know hardly anything about you, but what I do know allows me to make my own little judgements. Same with everyone else that reads your posts, or my posts, or Yukuri Danshi's posts, or Gamers Abyss's posts - they're judging us all by these little brain droppings, and we judge each other, to some extent of the word.

And moreover, unless you are trying to flat out lie, everything you say has some truth to it. Everything you say sheds some light on your soul. I guess it's a lot of responsibility to prepare what words to say then. You don't want people to see you in the wrong light.
