$19.90. That's a steal. If you loved the first one, the 2nd one has even more bouncy.

I read some of the Japanese reviews on Amazon, and the consensus is, some of the battle control schemes are still somewhat unresponsive sometimes, but the rest makes up for it.

Alright, just arrived a moment ago. Only played through the prologue so far.

Backgrounds and maps are more colorful this time around, and have more personality too. Same with the menues, and they also have more animation this time. Game still has that same sense of humor, which I like. One of the things I really liked about the original was the music, and the sequel doesn't dissapoint in that regard. My biggest issue with the original was that it only gave you 3 save slots. There are now 6 save slots in the sequel, so that is quite nice. Kinda wish there were a few more though.

I haven't done any battles or touching sequences yet. In the original, these felt kinda easy, and I've heard that the sequel isn't much harder in that regard, but supposedly these 2 aspects are more polished now. I've also heard that the sequel is a bit shorter in terms of story.

So far, seems like fans of the first will enjoy the sequel.

We'll see how it goes.
