Does anyone perfer Breakers to Breakers Revenge?

Just wondering, I bought both... actually I bought Breakers by mistake because I was not aware there were two games... anyway, Breakers Revenge seems to just add the Ninja guy, and the roof tops stage, everything else is identical. However, I feel that Breakers is much better balanced the Revenge... I don't know it just feels better. Anyone have any comments on this. I like Breakers Revenge, and I will probably sell off this Breakers cart just cause I do not see the point in having both, but I almost feel like Breakers is the better game.

I have had the homecart of breakers. I thought it was okay. I now have Breakers Revenge on MVS. I like Breakers Revenge better. Your right it seems like all they did was add a new background and new character and volia! Revenge! As far as gameplay I think BR is better overall. If I had Breakers on MVS it would only be to collect and every-once-in-a-while pop it in and play just for kicks. That's my $.02.... <IMG SRC="smilies/eek2.gif" border="0">

Well, I think that is all a matter of opnion, I actually like the way they play. They remind me of the SF Alpha series which is a bit faster and more furious then SNK fighters. I agree that the game is not the best, but it is deffinetly fun for a few rounds with friends every once in a while.

Agreed! It reminds me of alpha series as well. The game is great, but only in moderations. It is hardly played, but its nice to pop in on occassion.
