Captain Kidd rocks. I love his shark/ship projectile animations, and the way the ship would sink if it was blocked, or the way the shark would kinda eat into your arm. He even had a cool little 'han getsu zan' type move. He already had a few cool ideas attatched to him, and they could surely do a lot more to make him real stylish.

VOTED for option #2. I never really HATED W.H. I just always felt that the series wasn't given the "Serious" treatment. If they programmed the characters (particular ones) to be bad azz, then yeah sure why not?

Sure, I really enjoyed the first 3 games and would like to see them in a more serious game. I'd also liked to see them develop Kim Dragon's character. He was the first "Bruce Lee" type character that I saw and he might have been the first. It would be cool to see what they could do with him along with Hanzou(sp?) and Fuma to seperate them more from Ryu and Ken.

Hanzou being shown in his time era, surrounded by bamboo trees and the night air, defending his Iga Clan from all sorts of danger. Dragon in his own time, learning the martial arts and refining them. World Heroes was an ok game, I kinda liked it.......But it fell wayy short of being a really good fighter with slow play machanics and it was hurting in Character design in some areas. Just because the game itself isnt good dosent mean that the designs of the characters are bad too-
HANZOU, FUUMA, DRAGON, BROcKEN(Inspector Gadget),Captain KIDD etc.. this game Had some potential................well this game has its fair share of different kinda freaks indeed.....it would be cool to see em come back- and freshly drawn with fluid animation.....if the characters got a bit of a face lift they shoud be alright. its all in the design..................I Vote YES . I would like to see some World Heroes in a Vs Game.
PS:....KIM Dragon was a wicked character-Awesome Bruce lee Rep on his part....that character was way better than that DRY - Fei long from SSF2,He was much more spectacualar to watch IMHO.

Whenever you choose the WH groove: your character's sprite animation becomes really choppy; when you make a jump motion on the joystick your character slowly starts to float in the air; and when you do a special move, any special move at all, a voice says 'MUDCOPTER!'

Don't worry, they won't include WH charas in a new SvC because they know that this could be a prob for those pansy-ass SNK and CAP top tiers - Kyo? Iori? Just a matter of a round or two for Brocken. Ryo? Robert? Ryu? Akuma? Dan? A damn breakfast pause for Fuuma. To-tal opponent burial. Iori'd get an Orochi diarrhoea if Kidd would send a ghost ship at him, man.

Seriously though, I voted:
I'd love to see Noise Factory redo World Heroes like they did Double Dragon and Power Instinct.
I think the World Heroes character designs were great for their time, and some of the stages and music were pretty neat too. Like Son Gohan said, there were lots of little details that went into that series.
All they would have to do would be to clean up the sprites, add some more animation, and revamp the engine.
I will echo your demand...

World Heroes to me has always been one of those games that I continue to play, despite the few flaws it might have. I've thought about the addition of WH characters in a versus game from time to time, and I don't think it would hurt for 2 or 3 of them to be added. Hanzou and Fuuma are my picks for sure.

I liked World Heroes from day one, I saw it playing in a grocery store as a kid, and really liked what I saw. Then I played Fatal Fury Special and said, wtf am I doing playing World Heroes. Again I say, wtf are we even deliberating this for?
