Is the TV have RGB inputs? (what's the point of having all that A/V gear, if you don't have RGB or at least component inputs?)
Does all your older gear work (eg 1980's CD players, 1974 headphones)? I use AKG 141 Monitor heaphones with my Neo.

dump the audio, get a bigger tv
as long as the bigger tv is a CRT with RGB.

Yup. Neogeo-wise... it ain't high end A/V gear unless you're running it in RGB on a CRT. Nice stuff regardless though.

This guy comes off as such a dick waving asshole to me. He's posted this picture like four times, basically exclaiming, "Hey, look at my expensive shit". And then he posts this long list of stuff like we care what he has. What a loser, that he feels the only people he can brag to are strangers on the internet.

look guys, i'm trying to share here. what's the big offense?

i'm a fledgling NEO fan, just starting out, that happens to
also be an audiophile, and owns and peferrs a NEO AES over
a "Candy Cab" or CMVS, due to lack of free space,
as well as personal preference. is that such a sin?

why oh why do NEO fans in general seem so Effin' uptight?
why can't i share my enthusiasm for the NEO on this forum without getting
my A$$ handed to me on a silver platter for it 75% of the time?

Calm down. Ok? This community was always rather strict. Just roll with the punches & ignore the remarks & you'll find your place here soon enough. Not all the Neo community is like this. If you find yourself being stressed out by the pressure, just take a short break. Aside from a few things, you seem pretty ok to me. Besides, I won't be surprised if a few popular members here started out like this.

so perhaps i should get the whole shooting match done
when i send my AES in for the UNIBIOS.
one thing i'm not overly happy with in the stock DIN A/V out
is the "RAINBOW MOIRE" pattern that manifests itself
in the background fencing on NAM-1975,
as well as on GALFORD's net-pattern sleeves on
SAMURAI SPIRITS 1.

i guess i'll talk to Xian Xi about the
COMPONENT/S-VIDEO/L/R STEREO RCA mod...

I'd put the AES above whatever that thing is below your tv. Possibly purchase a tv stand of lower height, so you aren't straining your neck while on the floor.

Hey, what's the story behind all the Pioneer stuff?

actually, i like my setup exactly as it is.
i never have to sit on the floor to play any game,
nor does anyone else.

the thing below the Monitor?
that's an S-VHS (Super VHS) VCR. the 1988 JVC HR-S8000U, to be precise.
one of the very best VCRs ever designed;

HR-S8000UMacG.jpg

HR-S8000UMacG1.jpg

it makes very good recordings from DVD,
as far as VHS is concerned, anyway.
have a see:

http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll310/shaorin-chan/JVC/DSCF2173.jpg

(source is "Comic Party Revolution" played back on a 1998 PIONEER DV-09 Reference DVD Player)

anyway, about "PIONEER"

i'm just a fan of the company's classic Audio/Video products.
the look and feel just click with me well.
they are finely crafted classics of the golden age of
the Japanese "Bubble Economy"
nothing at all like the disposable throwaway consumer electronics
of today, these components were crafted with old-world
japanese pride to last decades, and i deeply admire and respect that...

Who?

(that vintage cell is a 1985 MOTOROLA.
i found and claimed it when we went through my
mother's boyfriend's old computers/electronics stash
in order to clean up his pack-rat act before they got
any more serious in their relationship)

Zack Morris? He was a fictional character of the sitcoms, "Good Morning, Miss Bliss", "Saved By the Bell", & "Saved by the Bell: The College Years". I think he was portrayed by Mark-Paul Gosselaar, but I don't exactly know. I'm pretty sure he also made an appearance on the talk show "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon".
