Do not see Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium

Yeah, this is probably obvious to anyone who's seen the trailer. After shutting down our office yesterday and getting wacky off champagne, vodka and cream puffs it was decided to see a movie. I fought for No Country for Old Men, but we ended up at Mr. Magorium instead. God what a waste of time. Maybe good for families with kids, but bring a pillow.

Then you could have seen a movie that didn't suck.

On a more serious note, good for you for at least listening to what the majority wanted, and participating to show your team spirit. Even if it did lead to seeing a big steaming pile of suck.

Sometimes it is fun to object to a movie that the group ends up seeing just to retain gloating rights later when everyone else finds out it is ass.

At least Natalie Portman was in it.

I made as big a fuss as I could without being a wuss. I'm pretty good friends with the folks so I wasn't gonna be a total dick. Portman was in it and cute, but it doesn't make up for how dull the movie is. She's looks a total tomboy in the movie and I even like that look sometimes, but it didn't matter. Only one scene where you get any indication that she has lady parts. lolz

I wanted to fall asleep so bad, but I refused to be "Mr. Couldn't Handle Champagne and Fell Asleep in Theater".

That's pretty much the sentiment I got from the trailer. Doesn't even look good for kids.
